Louis Braille was born on January 4, 1809, in the small French village of Coupre, in a middle-class family. His father, Simon Rayleigh Braille, used to make saddles and gins for the royal horses. His mother Monique Braille was a housewife. Simon had to work extra hard as he did not have enough financial resources to meet the family needs, so when Louis was only three years old, his father took him along with him to make saddles and gins for horses. According to his nature, the three-year-old boy used to spend his time playing with the things available around him, so the objects of Louis's play were the same as those used by his father in his work like hard wood, rope, pieces of iron, horses. Knife, knife and iron tools used. One day the knife used to cut the wood for the saddle suddenly jumped into the eye of Louis Braille, and blood flowed from the boy's eye. He was blindfolded by applying simple Jadi, but by the time he attained the age of eight, he was completely blind. In place of the colorful world, everything was plunged into deep darkness for that child. He did his further studies using a blind system but with that system only people were allowed to read, not write. Disappointed by this, at the age of 15, Braille Created a script that made 64 letters and symbols using only 6 dots instead of 12, and could write not only punctuation marks but also mathematical symbols and musical notations. This script is common today. Made in 1824, this script is used in almost all countries of the world. In 1851, his health started deteriorating and he died on 6 January 1852 at the age of 43. In 1868, 16 years after his death, the 'Royal Institute for the Blind Youth' recognized this script.

He told about the night writing and sonography read by the soldiers in the dark. This script was raised and based on 12 points. It was here that Louis Braille got the idea and modified it to come up with a 6-point Braille script. The sharp intelligent Louis made a provision to display not only letters or numbers but also all signs.
